The cutest little coffee shop EVER!!

So I have been living in my town for 8 yrs now and my Husband and I have just started having weekly breakfast dates to our local "Café" which is only open from 6am-2pm and a couple weeks ago I noticed the owners daughter left and a few minutes later she walked back in with the most beautiful iced coffee's. Now I will let you know I live in a VERY small town and we have ONE stoplight and that isn't even in town. That is out on the hwy, so I have been trying to figure out where this shop was...
Well I found it today! YaY me :-) it is called Jackie O's Coffee House and it is the cutest thing I have seen. I loved everything about it from the distressed wood on the booths to the carousel horse in the back room that has antique pieces for sale. If you are ever in the area make sure to check her out!

Promise me Once

Day 2 or Day 4 depending on how you look at it. How you look at what you may ask. Spring break which is not really Spring break it is Easter break because it is in Wisconsin and it was cold yesterday. Why am I counting the days ALREADY? because my boys are fighting non-stop which includes yelling and running and wrestling then they will get along for about an hour and it all starts over again.
Stupid things they are fighting over who's turn it is to pick what you tube video they can watch on the TV. The dumb part is if I let one use my laptop they will watch the same exact video.

Enough about Thing 1 and Thing 2 I had the joy of fixing my 3 month old laptop yesterday. It is an HP and it was flashing between the desktop and the app screen and that the all it would do well I was finally able to get it to back up a few days and it seems to be good to go... Fingers crossed!!

Coming April 19th

 

On another note I was supposed to have an interview for a new little one today and I chased Thing 1 and Thing 2 around cleaning up after them to make sure the house was extra presentable for a first meeting and I finally get a text around 3pm that she isn't feeling well and we can maybe try again next week. I hope it works out and I can have a new little one here.

That is about is for this lady tonight. I have a snoring dog next to me and a sleeping boy on the sofa with the other about to head to sleepy land or so I hope because once my little one gets picked up I am going to pass out myself.

A brand new world...

Sooo... Good morning! I am adding another thing to my platter because I don't have enough to do already ;-/ (She says sarcastically).
Yes the 4 B's I love all of them !
Babies - I actually am in the process of getting licensed for an in home daycare and currently watch a little girl that just turned 1 and she is just a tiny little munchkin. I have a meeting with someone on Tuesday for a 1 yr. old boy.
Books - I love to read, I love when an author can pull me into the story and I feel like I can't put the book down until the story is done. That doesn't actually happen too much these days with the daycare but I cherish every minute I can get to read. I love to give my reviews on books also which I will be putting on here as well.
Beauty - I have an addiction to nail polish but, I haven't actually bought any in the past couple months. I have a small tote approx. 2' x 1' filled will all my polish and other nail "things". The same goes for my make-up but I desperately need to go on a make-up shopping spree. my weakness is Ulta online and hitting them up when they are having a sale. Baking - I enjoy baking and this is something that is definitely not for everyone. I have my good days and my bad days and I have some things that I just cannot bake. One thing that I have figured out and it may be just because I found a great recipe is Banana Bread... I swear a loaf doesn't even last a day in my house.
So those are the basics about my blog and a little bit about me and mine. My younger years I grew up in southern Mississippi and I have been in Wisconsin and Minnesota the rest of my life. I have traveled quite a bit but only traveling outside the U.S. to go to Canada. I have two boys one just turned 6 and he is finishing up kindergarten and a 12 yr. old who is finishing up 7th grade and fingers crossed he won't have to repeat 7th again next yr... he will be 13 in July.
My Husband and I have been together for 14 yrs. and will celebrate our 10th anniversary in October.

That's a wrap for today, the boys are on Spring break and go figure today I wake up at 5AM.
